I am designing it right now, the real deal, just got the throttle housing done. You can find me on www.homebuiltairplanes.com.
In so many years since the release of the movie, NO ONE ever even tried. You can find a few models here and there, but that is it.
So, I took that onto me, and here we are. I'm designing a plane( and building it). Check out my drawings.
I also intend on publish a website covering the whole design and building process.

The clouds were lots of fun; they have a subtle base layer in a normal mode, but they were mostly painted on a luminosity layer. If you're interested in the method I'm happy to share.
